Won't Stay Logged In

Even though I check the box to keep me logged in, I have to log in at every visit. This happens on more than one computer. Any solution?

It may be something on my end because on one of my computers (home desktop running Win98) it doesn't happen. However on 2 different WinXP laptops it happens often. I do log on more frequently than every 2 days.

I am having the same problem here, On my desktop, my two laptops, my work computer, and the computer at the squad building. I log in every day, and it's still logged out.

Logging on

Does your browser save your passwords?
Besides clicking on the box for automatic log on Firefox also asks if I want it to remember my USERNAME and PASSWORD for every site that requires a log on.

Just to follow up on this old thread...can you guys please set the login cookie to something longer than 2 days? Most boards I visit set it for a year, so I pretty much never have to log back in if I check the "Keep me logged in" option. Thanks!

My users are complaining about being logged out too quickly!

You can increase the default length of sessions (ie. how long before a users session is considered 'dead') in Admin->General->Configuration->Cookie Settings->Session Length.

Your wish is my command. You shouldn't have problems with it logging you out now.
