I have been hearing activity on 172.0750 from Milford, CT. P25 digital/encrypted but occasionally in the clear, typically only radio checks. I think they referred to it as "alpha 1".

Heard more on this. They announced an Amber Alert that came out of NJ today. I have been told it is used as an areawide interdepartmental interop frequency.

Heard a few more too:
167.5375 - P25/some encryption - activity in New Haven, CT (based on street names)
168.8750 - P25/only encrypted so far.
